Privacy policy

Mountain Pure Water is currently a pre-launch preview site — there's no live store or checkout yet. This page explains the limited data the site collects today. It will be replaced with a full policy before any real commercial launch.

Privacy-first analytics

We use PostHog and Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand basic site traffic and keep the preview working well. This may include page views, referral source, browser and device category, and general site-performance information.

PostHog runs in permanent cookieless mode. It does not use cookies, local storage or session storage for analytics, identify visitors, or create visitor profiles. We discard client IP data and collect page views only. Automatic interaction capture, form text, session replay, surveys, heatmaps, error capture and performance capture are disabled.

Cloudflare Web Analytics provides aggregate traffic and performance measurements without cookies or cross-site tracking.

Wally, our water-finder assistant

If you chat with Wally, your messages and the page you are viewing are sent to our chat service so it can generate a reply. Your browser stores a random conversation ID in local storage so the conversation stays on one thread. PostHog does not capture Wally chat text.

If you choose Wally's discount-email option, the email address you enter is sent to our lead service with the conversation ID and page context. Other contact, newsletter, and quiz forms are demo forms unless clearly labeled otherwise. The checkout is also a preview and cannot take payment.

Text messaging (SMS) privacy

If you opt in to receive text messages from Mountain Pure Water, we collect and use your mobile phone number, your consent record, and your message interactions to send recurring automated filter reminders, water tips, product updates, and occasional offers.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

No mobile information or text-messaging opt-in data and consent will be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. This exclusion applies to every category of data sharing described elsewhere in this policy.

We may share this information only with contracted service providers acting solely on Mountain Pure Water's behalf to deliver, secure, or support the text-messaging program, or when disclosure is required by law.

We retain reasonable records of consent and opt-out status and use reasonable safeguards to protect this information, but we cannot guarantee absolute security.

What we don't do

Google Analytics is not used. No advertising pixels run on this site. We don't sell, rent or share your data for advertising, and there's no cross-site advertising tracking.

When Mountain Pure Water moves from preview to a live commercial site with real orders and accounts, this policy will be replaced with a complete one covering payment and shipping data.
